Identifying the hotel upon arrival was frustrating. signage and lights were inadequate. Parking was tight, leading us to park on the road. We were also disappointed that we had only a double bed when we expected a larger option.

What an amazing gem Tigh Na Leigh is! The decor beautifully blends historical charm with contemporary touches. My room, fitted with a four-poster bed, was spacious and immaculate. The bathroom boasted a large jacuzzi bath, a real treat after a long day exploring. Graham and Karen made me feel incredibly welcome, providing helpful local tips and even preparing a detailed map for sightseeing. The evening meal was exceptional, on par with fine dining, and breakfast offered a plethora of delicious options. The garden area was stunning, perfect for relaxing with a local drink. the pushy nature around changing rooms was off-putting, feeling more like a sales tactic than hospitality. on my second night, I wanted dinner but they had prior plans. Their enthusiasm for sharing local knowledge sometimes felt overwhelming. I wanted a bit more space during my downtime. Despite these inconveniences, their genuine effort to ensure a pleasant stay shines through.
